Mission, what do we stand for?
A sustainable world, a world in which we sensibly tax our planet, a world that remains liveable for future generations. “There is no plan B because there is no planet B.” That is what we as Energy Challenges are happy to contribute to. We do this by organizing challenges in education, after all: by teaching children how to use energy consciously at a young age, we need less energy. Even if we use 'green' sources, we need to generate less. By starting with young people, we try to create a leverage effect so that effects will also be noticeable in the environment of the young people.
Vision, what are we going for?
Becoming aware of the use and waste of energy, so that waste decreases and less energy is used.
We do this by challenging young people in primary and secondary education to campaign in their way for energy saving and sustainability at their school! Independent, enterprising and playful, young people discover their talent and become acquainted with the wonderful world of sustainability, energy and technology. They are supported by Razende Reporters and gain technical insight into 'their' school through the energy scan of the school building. Results can be followed immediately through the gas and power monitoring system. The school is supported by our education specialists.
